About
I'm interested in what people do, and why they keep doing it.
Who this is
Nicholas
Life, relationship and dating coach.
I study human behavior — how people think, decide, connect, argue, avoid, and explain themselves afterward. Not from a clinical chair. From an ongoing, fairly obsessive interest in the gap between what people say is happening and what appears to actually be happening.
I built Nicholas Perspective because most advice in this space is either sanitized to the point of uselessness or so aggressive it's really just performance. Neither one helps someone who is stuck and genuinely trying.
I'm not going to pretend I have every answer. I'm going to ask better questions than you're currently asking yourself, tell you what I observe, and hand you something to try.
How I work
I won't protect your ego at the expense of your growth.
Including the parts you were hoping we'd skip. Directness without cruelty — I'm not interested in making anyone feel small. Being challenged and being humiliated are different experiences, and I know the difference.
If you're contributing to the problem, that's the most useful thing we could discover. You have authority over your part and almost none over anyone else's.
I work in patterns, tendencies, possibilities and areas to explore. I'm a coach, not a clinician. When something exceeds the scope of coaching, I'll say so and point you toward licensed support.
You won't find invented credentials, borrowed statistics, or testimonials from people who don't exist on this site. If I haven't earned a claim, I don't make it.
Human behavior is frequently absurd, and pretending otherwise makes the conversation worse. But humor is seasoning. Nobody's pain is the punchline.
