Attraction tells you something is pulling. It does not tell you what is pulling, or whether that thing has ever been good for you. Two very different questions wearing the same face.
It is the willingness to be known and possibly declined. Everything else is stagecraft, and stagecraft gets tiring for both of you.
Familiarity is persuasive, and familiar qualities feel like chemistry. That's why the same story arrives wearing a different face and a better haircut.
Strategy applied to a person you actually like usually produces a relationship with your strategy.

If the same ending keeps arriving, the beginning is worth examining.
